Who we are and Why MI-KA-ZA?

Many of our customers are curious as to why we chose MIKAZA HOME for the name of our company. The answer is simple. It is our initials! We are husband and wife, Mihran and Katia, Zaroukian, who left their well-paid day jobs and ventured into the beautiful world of modern furniture. Mikaza Home specializes in supplying modern furniture, lighting and decor for residential and commercial markets. The company was started as a response to the void of affordable modern furnishings in Ottawa. Today, MikazaHome.com is known nation-wide as one of the best spots online to find modern furniture. Mikaza Home distributes across Canada in both the commercial and retail markets with clients from Vancouver to Halifax.

Mikaza Home believes a personable and hassle-free customer experience is paramount. We believe that helping to furnish a clients' home is as much a service as a product, and thus we place as much emphasis on product quality as we do on service quality.

Local Innovation

Each year, hundreds of innovative new home and decor products are designed in Canada. Mikaza Home has begun a small project wherein we select a handful of designs for free exhibition at our Bank street location. This project was initiated in the summer of 2009 and there are already a handful of designs in the showroom from Canadian design students.
